Tree of Life, 5" x 7", 2006

I continue to be drawn to the line of the leaning tree and the classic leaf shape. After creating a triptych for the Microcosmos show at the Tims Art Quilt and Gallery, I wanted to pull elements from each of the three triptych pieces into one quilt. It was created during a time when I was without my sewing machine (!!!) and I loved exploring the possibilities of embroidery. You can see the triptych and read more about this series here and here.
