Juried into the 125-Mile Regional Visual Arts Exhibition in Denton, TX and received an award of Merit in Fiber.

Can you see the very subtle arch shape made by the purple sheer pieces? The lines make me think of a shrine. I loved picking shapes, colors and embellishments to frame under the arch. This was created after I finished a very brightly colored self-portrait. It was such a relief to swim around in the browns and blacks and muddy greens when making this piece.
